    Senoko Power is a fervent believer in the importance of maintaining a good balance between work and life. Both work and life are viewed as inter-dependent spheres. We have in place several HR initiatives in this area. This includes a leave scheme that caters to the needs of every employee i.e. paternity leave, matrimonial leave, examination leave and childcare sick leave on top of a generous annual leave scheme. We are constantly looking at ways to implement work-life initiatives to meet the changing needs of our employees through various feedback channels within the Company. To us, a happy employee is an effective employee.

    Family Day and Dinner & Dance are held annually. These company functions aim to foster cohesion and bonding among employees and to celebrate their contributions as well as to recognise the support given by their families.

    At Senoko Power, we strongly believe that a healthy employee is a productive employee. To encourage all our employees to adopt a healthy lifestyle, a Workplace Health Programme has been put in place. A comprehensive Health Screening Programme is also available to all employees bi-annually. Our Sports Committee organises various sports and games throughout the year to keep employees fit physically and mentally.

    To make health facilities easily available to all employees, we also have an in-house Gymnasium situated at Senoko Power Station.

    Senoko Power was conferred the Singapore H.E.A.L.T.H Award in 2005 by the Health Promotion Board, Singapore. The Singapore H.E.A.L.T.H Award gives national recognition to organisations with commendable Workplace Health Promotion (WHP) programmes. .
