Mr Roy Adair
President & CEO
Member of the Senoko Power Board of directors, President & CEO of Senoko Power Limited.
- Mr Adair is the President & CEO of Senoko Power in charge of the daily operations and directions for the Group. With extensive electricity supply industry experience in both the UK and Australian electricity markets, Mr Adair has worked in the utilities industry around the world and brings a broad spectrum of experience to Senoko Power. Most recently, he held several senior management positions with international companies including Powergen, the UK-based global energy company and Yallourn Energy in Australia.
- Mr Yu is in charge of the management of Senoko Power's assets including its capital-intensive CCPs. He joined the Electricity Department of the Public Utilities Board in 1985 and has served in various positions in Senoko Power Station, first as an engineer in the Instrumentation & Control Section, later in the Turbine Maintenance Section. He was in charge of the implementation of Senoko's first combined cycle plant when he was Manager of Planning and Engineering Services Section then.
Upon corporatisation of the Public Utilities Board's Electricity and Gas Departments on 1 October 1995, Mr Yu assumed the post of Manager (Planning & Engineering Services) of PowerSenoko Ltd. He was promoted to the post of Assistant General Manager (Maintenance) in July 1998 and Vice President (Projects & Engineering) in July 2002. Since May 2004, he has been serving in the position of Vice President (Asset Management).
Mr Yu obtained a first class honour degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong and a Master Degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Ms Evelyn Heng
Vice President (Corporate Services)
& Company Secretary
- Evelyn Heng is in charge of corporate services, which encompass administration, public relations, procurement, safety, security and environment. Ms Heng also takes charge of corporate secretarial matters of the Group. She joined Senoko in December 2000.
Prior to joining Senoko, Ms Heng was the Assistant Vice President (Finance) of MediaCorp Publishing Pte Ltd, the publishing arm of Media Corporation of Singapore. She had previously worked for IPC Corporation Ltd and Ernst & Young.
- Mr Tan is in charge of the energy production aspect of the Group. He is also currently the Director of Senoko Services Pte Ltd (SSPL). Prior to his reappointment, Mr Tan was the General manager when SSPL was incorporated in 2003.
Mr Tan joined the power industry in 1984 after his graduation from National University of Singapore. He received a sponsorship in 1995 from the Public Utilities Board to undertake a Corporate Master's in Business Administration conferred by Ohio University. In 1996, he graduated from Nanyang Technological University with an MBA in Management of Technology.
From 1997 to June 2004, Mr Tan was Senoko Power's On-the-job (OJT) Administrator and was crucial in leading Senoko Power to achieve its Certified OJT Centre status. Mr Tan has also participated in the Singapore Grid Council and Industry Consultative Committee, both convened by Energy Market Authority.
Mr Ng Sik Suan
Vice President (Business Development)

- Mr Ng is responsible for spearheading Senoko’s business development division in the energy and utilities industry in Singapore and the region. He joined Senoko Power in November 2004.
Mr Ng has many years of experience spanning the oil, chemical feedstock and utilities industries. He worked in Shell Eastern Petroleum for more than 10 years and his last appointment was the Division Manager in charge of Bitumen and Emulsion Business unit. Mr Ng was also the Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development at SembCorp Utilities (Singapore Technologies) before progressing to become the CEO of Mobile Solutions and Payment Services, also a subsidiary of Singapore Technologies.
Mr Ng has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from King’s College London and Masters in Management Science from the Imperial College of Science and Technology. He is also a qualified Arbitrator and was a member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK & Spore).
- Joseph Chia is in charge of Group’s financial functions, including treasury, taxation and capital management as well as the Group’s information systems. He joined Senoko in August 2006 as its Financial Controller and was promoted to the current position in October 2007. Prior to joining Senoko, Mr Chia worked in Deloitte and Touche, Showpla Asia Limited, Singapore MRT Ltd and SMRT Corporation Limited.
In his last appointment as Senior Manager (Group Finance) of SMRT Corporation Limited, he was responsible for corporate planning, budgeting, financial policies and procedures, regulatory and management reporting of the SGX-ST listed entity. Mr Chia holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Murdoch University, Australia. He is also a Non-practising Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
Mr Eu Pui Sun
Managing Director of Senoko Energy Supply Pte. Ltd.
- Eu Pui Sun is in charge of the management of SES. He joined the Electricity Department of the PUB in 1982 and has served in various positions in Jurong Power Station, first as an engineer in the Boiler Maintenance Section, later in the Turbine Maintenance Section. He was posted to the PUB Training Centre in 1990 as a Senior Training Officer to train power station staff for all types of power plant, including the CCPs.
Before corporatisation of the PUB’s Electricity and Gas Departments on 1 October 1995, Mr Eu assumed the post of Training Manager in the PUB Training Centre and later, the Singapore Power Training Institute. Since joining PowerSenoko in August 1998, Mr Eu has been serving in the areas of energy trading, business development and finally the retail operations, which he set up from end 2000 to cater for the liberalised electricity retail market.
Mr Eu obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and later a Master Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (Singapore) and a Chartered Engineer (UK) and a Senior Member of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore.
