Power Plant Operation & Maintenance Training

Senoko Power Ltd (SPL) was the first power generation company to be certified On-the-Job Training Centre in Singapore.

With shorter building and commissioning time for modern power plant, there is little opportunity for staff to gain hands-on operating experience. SPL has thus acquired a state-of-the-art simulator based on the CCGT for the operation and maintenance training of power plant staff of the Company. In addition, SPL has conducted technical training courses for external organisations both locally and overseas, such as Libya GECOL, Seraya Chemicals (Singapore), CEM (Macau) and ENV (Vietnam).

The training programs are specially tailored for operators and maintenance personnel to ensure that real plants are operated safely and efficiently through proper control and unified work patterns.

Trainees will go through classroom training, simulator training and site training to learn techniques for analysing and identifying potential problems, reducing plant damages and outages from error, and improving plant safety management.
